I must admit, I have always thought it would be years and years until I made it to the beautiful islands that make up Turks & Caicos. That’s the thing about being a traveler though, you reach the destinations you thought you never could at a time you never thought possible. MOST of the time when I am in the Caribbean, I seek adventure. However, there are some islands that leave you entranced and make you just want to lay back, relax and take in all the beauty all at once so that is exactly what I did.
But you can only lay under the hot Caribbean sun for so long without needing a nice cold drink, preferably a margarita, in a huge obnoxious glass, because that’s what vacation is all about. So I headed to Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville. Now I love Margaritaville just as much as the next person but their Grand Turk location is the perfect paradise. It almost makes you want to stay there the entire time you’re on the island. I mean that’s what I did.
The cool thing about this Margaritaville is the cozy little houses they have to rent as part of their hotel that surround the beautiful colossal pool. Did I mention there is a swim up bar? Yes a swim up bar. In case you didn’t already know, I live for resorts with swim up bars. The less work I have to do to get a tan and a drink at the same time, the better.
I’d like to tell you more about Grand Turk but you need to see the beauty of this island for yourself. I took my time, relaxed, soaked up the sun, reflected on how far I’ve come in my travels and although I could have done this anywhere, when you feel like you’re in the ultimate paradise in the middle of the ocean, there is no place else in this world you’d rather be.
I’m extremely impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your weblog.
Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself?
Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one nowadays.
